Since the first week last November (and later I started this daily blog), I have been writing about the events that led up to the Civil War. I was curious how it all got started. And over the past months I have tried to give you some pieces that struck me from various blog sites of the Civil War.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the journey and gained much insight to those years long ago and found them instructive for our current era.
I am going to take a break now for a bit... but I leave you with the days I have posted...for your thoughtful care and musing...

I have taken a breather and now am back at it. I am starting to post the daily events again. It is helpful to have a number of weeks gone by to get a better perspective on what to post daily...from the daily emails that I have continued to send out. (For those interested, I am in the first week of June as I go back and repost the month of daily entries for April.) I hope you will enjoy the history of all this... I am looking into a way to post my daily emails as a URL link but have not found a way to do that yet...but am looking into it. We will see what happens... The daily emails are more indepth while this blog gives a general overview of the days events.
